Kinnikinnick Foods operates an entirely gluten free store with over 200 gluten free items for sale. All your Kinnikinnick favorites, products from the best of other GF manufacturers, and dozens of special items made in our pastry kitchen only available here.

Hi! I just went back to Milan, Italy and found an amazing gluten free store with all the typical Italian products that cannot be found in, for example, the US or other parts of Europe. I would really like to share the store with you and your readers if possible since it seems only to be listed on Italian-language resource sites.
The store is:
CELIACHIA-FOOD
Via Martiri Oscuri, 3, 20127 Milan, Italy Tel. +39 02 2611 0687
Thanks for your resources! Brittany Richardson

My family has been gluten free for 2 1/2 years now. Like most other GF families, we've found eating out to be stressful and scary since our daughter's celiac diagnosis. But...that has all changed now that Bare Naked Bakery has come to town.
My gosh, it is such a pleasure to dine in a gluten-free dedicated restaurant! Gone are the strange stares from wait staff when I say we are gluten free. And what's more important is I don't have to worry about cross contamination or whether or not the chef at a restaurant really knows what foods have hidden forms of gluten.
Bare Naked Bakery has foods that our whole family enjoys. Whether it's paninis, bagels, pizza, scooter pies, or brownies...everything we've tried has been fantastic. While the food is not overly cheap, it is certainly competitively priced as far as gluten free foods go and unlike a lot of gluten free food, everything Bare Naked sells is delicious.

While my eating experience at the Bare Naked Bakery and Café was, and I’m highly confident will continue to be, five out of five star caliber, there is more to share about it than the excellent quality of the food.

I cannot stress the level of intimidation (not to mention frustration) I have felt at numerous eateries where the servers display a negative attitude as a result of their ignorance concerning Celiac. As some of them give outward indication of their impatience with my condition, I am left with anxiety and apprehension concerning my order: did they “get it” right? Was the information they gave me about the preparation of the food correct?? And what about the kitchen help? Will they do everything they need to do to ensure there are no traces of gluten in meal or on my plate??

At the Bare Naked Bakery and Café each and every one of these concerns become virtually non-existent. The moment I began to interact with the counter server I was made to feel, in a simple word, at home. I was clearly communicating with a person who knew exactly where I was coming from hence, I had every confidence that I was in for a very pleasant, comfortable eating experience. Her patience in answering any question I had was also shared by the food preparer. In short, I felt like I was with caring friends as opposed to a server who was simply doing his or her job and wanted to get me “out of the way”.

The particular dish which is a favorite of mine is the American Panini. I have also had good helpings of their bagels and bread. In terms of desserts, I’ve happily stuffed myself with their rainbow cookies, muffins and red velvet cake.

Don’t however, be-even for a moment-be fooled by my limited menu tastes. BNB & C offers quite a wide selection of dishes from a variety of mouth watering salads, to an array of appetizing paninis, pizzas and soups. My parents, both of whom have no celiac worries, marveled at the choice selection to the point where they had quite a hard time deciding what to choose upon our first visit. Best of all, both emphatically indicated that-had they not known any better-they wouldn’t have even realized they were eating food which was prepared gluten free.

As one who suffers from Celiac, it’s one thing for me to highly recommend The Bare Naked Bakery and Café. For raving reviews to come from individuals who are not gluten free is testament which goes above and beyond. We wish it continued success and look forward to our next visit. Thank you BNB & C for making “eating out” a most comfortable, tasty and satisfying eating experience.

Finally, a bakery/cafe that is dedicated to making delicious, high-quality gluten free foods. My daughter loves the pizza because it has a thick crust. She also loves the chicken rolls, chocolate chip cookies and muffin mix. There are weekly specials (this week was Irish Soday Bread!) so sign up for their e-mails.

Hello Brenda,
There are over 20,000 restaurants in our data base. There are about 650 within a 100 mile radius of Chicago. A list of restaurants is not of much value unless you know if you are near them. Our guide was developed to find restaurants that are near the location you are at.
A laptop computer is the easiest way to access the internet and our website. The only problem is you need an internet connection, they are getting much more available at hotels.
You can also purchase an IPad with a plan that will allow you to access the internet when you are on the road (no internet connection necessary).
I hope this information helps you.

Thank God someone has answered my prayers! Our Preachers Wife and myself can't eat gluten at all. We do however eat out at restraunts quite often , however we only eat a select number of items off of each list knowing that we are safe. I do need somehow to get a copy of the restraunts listed here on your website. We live in Southern Illinois but are traveling frequently to Central and Northern Illinois. Your help and attention to this matter is greatly appreciated by our families as well as us. Thank You!!!!!! May God Bless You and give you Peace in the New Year!!!
